To Party or Not to Party

Now that you have the ring it’s time to PARTY! First on the list of parties is the engagement party. Some couples may opt out of having one for different reasons, but people will want to congratulate you on your engagement and what better way than a party. Traditionally the bride’s parents plan and host this get together. However, it is not uncommon for both sets of parents or close friends to lend a helping hand. The party should be within a few months of the proposal. This is a great time to introduce the key people in both your lives; those people who are going to be seeing a lot of each other over the next few months leading up to your big day. Be sure to invite guests that will also be invited to your wedding. As for the party it’s up to the planners for location, venue, and all those details. So sit back and let the celebrating begin!
